Meet The Team

Dr. Erica Crafts, DPT - Founder

Dr. Erica Crafts, DPT - Founder

Hello there! I'm Dr. Erica Crafts, and I'm the proud owner and founder of Edge Physical Therapy. I started this journey with a strong desire to serve the community in a way that truly puts patients first. With a background in CrossFit and gymnastics, I have always been passionate about movement, pain management, and helping athletes and moms reach their full potential.

My adventure began at CrossFit Four Pillars, where I dedicated myself to keeping the CrossFit community moving and free from pain. As a former gymnast myself, I understood the unique needs of gymnasts, so I transitioned to working with them at AIM Gymnastics. It was a rewarding experience to share my passion and help these athletes thrive.

However, my desire to serve a broader population led me to expand my horizons once again. I joined Choice Health and Wellness to focus on pelvic health, an area I have been specializing in for 14 years. In April 2022, I took a leap of faith and opened the first location for Edge Physical Therapy. With the support of my amazing team, which includes PTA Ashley and an assistant, we quickly outgrew our space and moved to a larger facility. We also increased our hours to accommodate the growing demand for orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, led by Dr. Chad.

At Edge Physical Therapy, we're dedicated to meeting the needs of our community. We believe in providing patients with the care they deserve, free from unnecessary referrals, testing, and doctor visits. We prioritize our patients' needs above all else and ensure they receive the best possible care.

Creating an environment that promotes relaxation and calmness while allowing patients to work hard is our goal. We've combined the best aspects of a gym setting with the expertise of physical therapy to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients.

In addition to my professional accomplishments, I'm also a mother to seven wonderful children, four of whom I had the joy of birthing here in Moses Lake. Being a mom has given me a unique perspective and firsthand experience of the benefits of pelvic physical therapy. I've witnessed countless patients overcome leaks and pain when they thought all hope was lost.

I'm truly passionate about what I do, and I'm committed to helping individuals regain their freedom of movement, live pain-free lives, and achieve their goals. If you're seeking a dedicated and experienced pelvic health specialist, or if you're in need of sports, orthopedic, or pediatric physical therapy, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Let's work together to unlock your full potential and reclaim your life.

I am dedicated to promoting effective rehabilitation, enhancing performance, and preventing injuries, while empowering my patients to achieve their full potential and lead active, healthy lives."

Dr. Joanne Thomas, PT, DPT

My journey into physical therapy started my junior year in high school when I tore ligaments in my ankle playing basketball.  In my own physical therapy, I saw a field that offered a way to help people return to function.

My education began with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and then advanced to a Doctorate of Physical Therapy when that degree became available.  With over 28 years of experience treating patients, I know that education never stops.  My experience ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics with specialties including vertigo and lymphedema.  I love helping patients regain function and overcome issues that prevent living life to the fullest.

I am a wife and a mother of two.  When not working, I love to work in my garden and turn the produce into homemade food.  I love being outside with my family and jet skiing, snow skiing, or just taking a walk.  I also have a passion for working with young people.

I look forward to working with you to put you solidly on the path of a full, active life.

“My mission is to empower individuals by sharing my knowledge and passion to live a joy filled, active life; thereby empower others around them.”

Ashley Roessler, PTA, CPT

Hi there! I'm Ashley Roessler, a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and NSCA Certified Personal Trainer with over 12 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy. I'm truly passionate about helping people live their best lives through natural health and fitness.

One area that I specialize in is Pelvic and Women's Health. Over the past year, I have gained valuable experience in this field, working with patients to address their unique needs and improve their quality of life. I believe in a fitness-forward approach to treatment, where exercise plays a central role in rehabilitation and wellness.

Among the various aspects of exercise and rehabilitation, hip strengthening holds a special place in my heart. I find it fascinating and incredibly rewarding to help individuals improve their hip stability and function, as it has a significant impact on their overall mobility and well-being.

My journey into this field began with a Bachelor's degree in Science Kinesiology and Pre-PT from Western Washington University. It provided me with a solid foundation and the necessary knowledge to excel in my profession. Since then, I have continued to learn and grow, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in my field to provide the best care for my patients.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two sons on our mini homestead. We love exploring the outdoors, going hiking, and embarking on nature adventures with family and friends. It's refreshing and rejuvenating to connect with nature and create lifelong memories with loved ones.

My ultimate goal as a healthcare professional is to make a positive impact on every single person I work with. I strive to help them live their best lives physically, feel good about themselves, and become independent. I aim to empower my patients by equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to continue progressing and reaching new levels of fitness and well-being each day.

If you're looking for a compassionate and dedicated therapist and trainer who will support you in your journey towards optimal health, I'm here to help. Let's work together to achieve your goals and ensure that you feel confident in taking control of your physical well-being.

“My mission is to empower the active and motivated individuals to live their best life by using my skills, knowledge, and passion combined with compassion, love and gentleness to help them reach their full potential and live a happy and well balanced life.”
